Ode to the horrific past

Who would have thought 30 years later I would be having flashbacks of a time and a place?

A time when life should have been care free and full of fun and growing but instead was a time of innocence lost.

A place that I keep going back to searching for answers.

Answers to so many questions.

Those questions mostly in a shroud of mystery and misery.

My mind races for answers and yet the suspicion of such needs the evidence of proof.

What will tomorrow bring?

What memories will come out that have been locked away for so many years?

Had time been a friend or a foe and will a certain array of long awaited relief be bestowed upon me?

More tomorrow.......

The Sacred Circle

A couple of days ago I attended a ceremony at Clan of the Hawk sacred grounds in Vermont.

It was an amazing day despite the rain. I was able to meet a few different chiefs from several different tribes.

I was invited to join a man named Silver Wolf, a chief named Lone Wolf and a clan mother named, Two Feathers to drum and sing sacred songs of the Abnaki people.

It was beautiful and it awoke in me a sense of belonging.

After some time the head chief wanted to speak with me in regards to joining their tribe and sacred circle to which I accepted.

I have finally, found my people. After almost 40 years...

A new day, a new journey

Today, I embark upon blogging yet again. This time for the long haul. Having spent much time in my own head I have decided to get out and explore the world around me even more than I already have.

This journey will still include herbal uses and such but will also include all the little story's along the way.

We shall see what the next chapter brings.
